Congrats to our PhD students Finalists of the 3-min PhD Dissertation Challenge
Congratulations to our PhD students Angela, Vincenzo, Yushan, Fernando, Jing and Eshan who are Finalists of the 3-min Ph.D. Dissertation Challenge at the IEEE PES Grid Edge Technologies Conference & Exhibition!
Angela Simonovska, Vincenzo Bassi, Yushan Hou, Fernando Lanas, Jing Zhu and Eshan Karunarathne, PhD students supervised by Prof Nando Ochoa, are 6 out of 54 finalists (more than 10%) from around the world that will compete in two different sessions at the IEEE PES Grid Edge Technologies Conference & Exhibition that will take place in San Diego, California from 10th to 13th of April this year.
As Finalists, our students will have the chance to present in front of the judging committee and compete for the grand prize of US$5,000. Eshan, Jing, Fernando, and Angela will present their work in Session 1, whereas Vincenzo and Yushan will present in Session 2 both on Wednesday 12th April.
