Thesis title

Machine Learning enabled Reflective Intelligent Surface for 6G Communication

Research overview

This research explores the use of machine learning to enable intelligent control of large antenna arrays for future wireless networks. Unlike traditional systems that rely on channel estimation and optimization, it investigates learning array configurations directly from pilot signals to reduce overhead and computation. Large antenna arrays can significantly enhance signal quality and coverage, but practical deployment is hindered by complexity. By leveraging data-driven methods, this work aims to overcome key challenges and unlock the full potential of large antenna arrays in next-generation networks.
