Thesis title
Universal coronavirus vaccine design using random matrix theory
Research overview
I shall work on betacoronaviruses which include common cold coronaviruses, SARS-CoV-1, MERSCoV, and SARS-CoV-2. I would study the correlations between mutations at amino acid pairs in the sequence data of betacoronaviruses. It would utilize statistical methods for performing coevolutionary analyses based on ideas from random matrix theory.
