The Tucker laboratory houses the state-of-the-art high-speed optoelectronics characterisation facility to support a wide range of optical communication and sensing research activities.
This includes:
- Ultrafast arbitrary electrical waveform generators
- Real-time digital sampling oscilloscope
- High-speed coherent optical transmitters
- Coherent receivers.
- Test-beds for demonstration of the modern networks from last-mile access networks to thousands of kilometres of long-haul optical fiber networks
