Thesis title

Advanced Planning for Future DER-Rich Distribution Networks

Research overview

As power systems evolve to include a higher share of renewable energy sources like solar and wind, as well as energy storage systems, the traditional methods of planning and operation are being challenged. This research explores advanced planning methodologies for distribution networks that are increasingly integrated with Distributed Energy Resources (DERs).
